Thanh Catachanas is Head of Collaboration and Acquisition at JCDecaux. Dedicated on a professional and personal level to driving diversity, equity and inclusion within the advertising community, Thanh launched JCDecaux Reach, a new programme designed to support brand growth for Black, Asian and Multi-Ethnic brands, helping them scale and grow by reaching their chosen target audiences through the Power of the Public Screen. In collaboration with The Google Start Up Black Founders Fund, numerous brands have been supported in their journeys for growth, with hugely successful campaigns having launched with brands such as SOJO, WUKA and Ruka Hair to name a few. Given 1 in 4 people identify as an ethnic minority in England and Wales, and reports showing ethnic audiences are worth £4.5bn in disposal income, brands have a real opportunity to engage with this audience for long term success.
